About Josh Autry

Josh Autry chairs Morgan & Morgan's mass tort law and briefing group, the team that prepares the motions, briefs, and appeals behind the firm's class action and multidistrict litigation. In more than seventeen years of practice he has tried nineteen cases to jury verdict, argued thirty appeals, and taken over three hundred depositions. His appellate wins for plaintiffs include Sommerville v. Union Carbide in the Fourth Circuit, which revived a pollution case by reversing summary judgment and an expert exclusion, and Zimmerman v. Norfolk Southern in the Third Circuit, which held that federal regulations did not preempt a negligence claim against a railroad. He is a graduate of Liberty University and Washington & Lee University School of Law.
