Damien Smith

Damien Smith is an attorney at Price Benowitz LLP focused on personal injury law in Virginia, having practiced in this area since 2018. He has handled hundreds of settlement and litigation cases ranging from car accidents and premises liability to dog bite lawsuits, and has additional experience in criminal, traffic, and bankruptcy matters as well as corporate compliance work in consumer financial regulation.

Smith earned his Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law in 2014, where he served as Executive Editor of the Journal of International Commercial Law. He earned a Master's in European Union Policy Studies from James Madison University's Florence, Italy program, where he was recognized for the best paper in the Master's symposium. He earned undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and Political Science, also from James Madison University. He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar (D.C. Bar admission pending).

Smith is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and was named to the National Trial Lawyers 40 Under 40. He volunteers with Legal Services of Northern Virginia in Fairfax (collection and housing actions) and supports a voter restoration project assisting Virginia residents with post-felony conviction voting rights.
