Gregory Haroutounian

Gregory Haroutounian concentrates his practice on catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, and product liability. He began his legal career in 2000 at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Washington, DC, where he focused on complex commercial litigation including Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings, contractual disputes, and business fraud matters. In 2007, he joined Dechert, LLP, as an associate representing a major pharmaceutical company and a global oil and gas enterprise. Since joining Ross Feller Casey, Haroutounian has worked alongside the founding partners on major recoveries including $26 million in a wrongful death case involving a defectively designed motor vehicle; $20 million for a child who suffered a brain infection; $19.16 million for the failure to diagnose and treat breast cancer (reported to be the largest known verdict in Chester County, Pa. history); $13 million for a delay in delivery resulting in cerebral palsy; and $10.5 million in New Jersey for failure to timely diagnose and treat a stroke.

As lead counsel, he has secured recoveries including $6 million for a delay in diagnosing brain cancer and $4.25 million for a delay in diagnosing sarcoma. Haroutounian graduated summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Albany in 1994, graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law in 1999 where he was class Salutatorian, and earned an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University School of Law in 2008. He is proficient in Armenian.
