Sam was elevated to the Hate Crimes Task Force where he investigated and tried the most sensitive cases involving victims targeted based on race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation. Prior to leaving the District Attorney’s Office in 2018, Sam’s relentless efforts from years of investigation resulted in a Philadelphia man being charged with seven homicides.
