Joshua Silk

Joshua F. Silk is a founding partner of Shamp Silk. His practice focuses on medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, and catastrophic injuries resulting from car and trucking wrecks. He was recognized as a Rising Star by Georgia Super Lawyers magazine in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024, an honor given to only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Georgia. He is active in the legal community as a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and serves on the editorial board of GTLA's Verdict magazine.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2011, where he served on the editorial board of the Georgia Law Review, worked as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Before law school, he graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. After law school, he worked as a staff attorney for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit before entering private practice. He is admitted to practice in all Georgia trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court, as well as all federal courts in Georgia, including the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, and the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
