Chelsey L. Watts

Chelsey L. Watts has practiced law since 2016. She is licensed to practice in the State of Texas and the Northern District of Texas (2024). She represents clients in personal injury cases and has prior legal experience in Insurance Defense, Commercial Business Litigation, Construction Litigation, and Labor & Employment. Chelsey has litigated cases across Dallas, Tarrant, Hill, Johnson, and Ellis counties, serving as first chair in more than 20 trials.

At Ben Abbott & Associates, she successfully settled multiple cases totaling $600,000 for injured clients. Her litigation experience includes high-stakes product liability and mass tort matters, including Essure removal and Hernia Mesh failure cases. Her prior experience also includes serving as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas, Child Support Division.
