Mark Ahrens

Mark Ahrens is a litigator at Todd Miner Law. A New York native raised in Central Florida, he has lived in the Orlando area for over 30 years. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies with a Specialization in Litigation from the University of Central Florida and earned his J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law. Before joining Todd Miner Law, Mark specialized in healthcare law, representing physicians and hospitals in the defense of medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and related claims. He brings an unusual depth of medical knowledge to personal injury work, having graduated from the inaugural class of Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences and worked as an E.R. and Critical Care nurse.

He has given presentations on legal issues to registered nurses and practitioners and co-authored a chapter in the Florida Medical Malpractice Handbook. His combined clinical and defense experience helps him understand the injuries his clients sustain and how insurance companies evaluate complex claims. Mark is admitted to the Florida Bar.
