Peter Gibbins

Peter Gibbins is an Associate Attorney at Zaner Law Personal Injury and Car Accident Attorneys. He represents plaintiffs in catastrophic injury, defective product, trucking accident, and wrongful death cases from inception through appeals.

Gibbins's notable verdicts include $55.5 million in Georgina Perez v. Sunbeam Products (2024; $9.1 million final judgment in 2025) and $3.2 million in Jerry Gyrion v. Dillon Companies LLC (2023). He has been recognized by the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, Super Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers, and 5280 Top Lawyers (2025), and has won the Excellence in Negotiation and ADR Award, Excellence in Oral Advocacy Award, and Regional Champion of the ABA Representation in Mediation Competition.

Gibbins earned his Juris Doctor and an LLM in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science cum laude from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He was elected Second Vice President of the Jeffco Public Schools Board of Education in November 2025.
