Douglas Brown

Douglas R. Brown is an Associate Attorney at Benson & Bingham Car Accident & Personal Injury Lawyers in Las Vegas, joining the firm on January 15, 2026 with more than 20 years of high-stakes civil litigation experience. A former U.S. Marine, he has an extensive background in civil litigation and insurance defense.

Brown was born in Junction City, Kansas. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1989 to 1993, earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UNLV in 1997, and his Juris Doctor from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 2001. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable William A. Maddox and externed for the Honorable Howard D. McKibben.

Brown holds the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, has completed over a dozen jury trials, and is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Nevada.
