Samantha Kaplan

Samantha Kaplan is an associate attorney at CaseyGerry working with the Personal Injury team, the Motion and Appellate Practice, and on class action cases. Before joining the firm she clerked for U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael Berg at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. During law school she clerked with the U.S. State Department Office of the Assistant Legal Advisor on Iran-U.S. Claims Tribunal submissions and bilateral investment matters, with EarthRights International, and with the Torture Abolition Survivor Support Coalition.

She also provided pro bono services through Georgetown Law's International Refugee Assistance Project. She is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. A native San Diegan, she is fluent in French and Spanish, holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance RYT certification, and is an avid hiker of the Pacific Crest Trail.
