David Casey III

David S. Casey III is an associate attorney at CaseyGerry specializing in personal injury and complex litigation. He has handled hundreds of personal injury matters since joining the firm in 2019. He attended the Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming in 2018 for intensive trial skills training and completed an additional week there in 2025. In 2020 he tried multiple criminal cases as a volunteer deputy district attorney through the TAP program in San Diego County.

In law school he externed for Judge Anthony Battaglia of the Southern District of California and received a CALI Award in Employment Law and Technology. He currently serves on the boards of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the Consumer Attorneys of California, and is a 2023 graduate of the San Diego County Bar Leadership Academy. A third-generation CaseyGerry attorney, he is the son of David S. Casey, Jr. and grandson of firm founder David S. Casey. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch since 2021.
