Scott Gilchrist focuses his practice on complex and class action matters across various industries and areas of law. He has represented individual, corporate, and municipal clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts around the country, serving as counsel in dozens of class actions involving antitrust, government overreach, landowner rights, consumer protection, banking and insurance practices, securities fraud, telecommunications charges, and product defects. Scott served as a principal attorney in two class actions against the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles that resulted in $30 million and $59 million in refunds to Indiana drivers for overcharges. He was also principal counsel in antitrust cases against ready-mixed concrete suppliers, recovering nearly $60 million for direct purchasers in central Indiana and more than $18 million in Iowa.
