Mitchell Bild

Mitchell W. Bild is a trial lawyer who practices in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death law. He joined Corboy & Demetrio in 2022. He has been recognized as an Illinois Rising Stars honoree by Super Lawyers for three consecutive years through 2026, and was selected to the Lawdragon 500 X directory since 2023. He earned Emerging Lawyers recognition from Leading Lawyers in 2023-2026 and was named to The National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 - Civil Plaintiff in 2023.

During law school at Chicago-Kent College of Law, he served as a law clerk at Corboy & Demetrio for two years. Following graduation, he worked as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Cook County Circuit Court's Law Division Motion Section from 2020-2022, drafting orders and conducting legal research while supervising judicial externs. He previously interned in the Civil Litigation Clinic, conducting research and writing memoranda on state and federal civil litigation matters.

He served as Executive Articles Editor of the Chicago-Kent Law Review (Volume 95) and Junior Editor (Volume 94), maintaining Dean's List status all three years. He excelled in Moot Court, winning the Ralph L. Brill Best Brief Award at the 2019 Ilana Diamond Rovner Competition.

A 2017 Michigan State University graduate with a B.A. in Political Theory & Constitutional Democracy, he was President of the Mock Trial Association and earned Dean's List honors in 2014, 2015, and 2017. He worked at Michigan State's Student Rights Advocates & Legal Services for four years, serving as Director (2016-2017) and Assistant Director, overseeing ten staff members in university legal proceedings and policy reform initiatives, particularly regarding Title IX.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the United Spinal Association's Illinois Chapter and the Auxiliary Board of the Center for Conflict Resolution, where he previously served as a Certified Mediator. In 2024, the American Association for Justice appointed him to its Law Schools Committee.
