Stephan Smith

Stephen Smith is a personal injury attorney with over forty years of experience handling injury claims who has been with Davis Law Firm since 2015. Born in Bethesda, Maryland and raised in Western Kentucky, he has lived and worked in San Antonio for over forty years. Prior to joining Davis Law Firm, Stephen worked at one of the largest injury firms in the nation managing litigation attorneys, and previously worked for insurance companies handling injury cases, becoming the Texas Claims Director for one of the nation's largest casualty carriers.

In his time with Davis Law Firm, he has resolved over 1,200 cases totaling over $17 million in settlements. He earned his J.D. with honors from Saint Mary's School of Law (John Harlan Society, Cum Laude) in 2004 and his undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in 1978. He has volunteered for over ten years with Child Advocates of San Antonio (CASA) and became a licensed foster parent for the State of Texas.
