About Robert Banas

Robert J. Banas is a Partner at Eichen Crutchlow Zaslow, LLP who began his legal career as a defense attorney representing hospital systems before moving into plaintiff's representation. He now concentrates his practice on medical malpractice, traumatic brain injuries, birth injuries, wrongful death, motor vehicle crashes, and product liability cases. His case results include a $7,950,000 recovery for a client involved in a serious motor vehicle crash that resulted in fractures, surgery, and a traumatic brain injury. He has been named a Super Lawyers "Rising Star" from 2020 through 2023, was included on the National Trial Lawyers' Top 40 Under 40 list in 2024, and was recognized in Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for 2023 and 2024.

He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 2015, where he served as Managing Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, participated in the Hunter Moot Court, and received the Best Oralist Award in 2013. He earned his B.S. from The College of New Jersey in 2012, graduating on the Dean's List. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
