Julie Kays

Julie Kays is a trial lawyer and passionate advocate for adult and child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and sexual assault. Over her 20-year legal career she has tried well over one hundred cases to a jury, achieving more than $20 million in jury verdicts and settlements exceeding $30 million. For over a decade she worked as a Senior Prosecuting Attorney in King County specializing in the prosecution of sexual offenders.

She graduated from Seattle University in 1990 and earned her J.D., cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2000. In 2010 she was awarded Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year and was recognized as a 2020 Super Lawyer. She has successfully held government entities accountable in several high-profile civil cases.
