About Brian Mason
Brian Mason is a Partner and Trial Attorney at Gomez Trial Attorneys in San Diego, where he represents plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury cases. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon and his Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he received the Witkin Award for top grades in Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, Trial Practice, California Evidence, and Legal Writing.
Brian began his career defending indigent criminal defendants through the San Diego County Public Defender's Multiple Conflicts Office, earning a Pro Bono Honors Award for volunteering more than 300 hours on first-degree homicide cases. Brian has been an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Thomas Jefferson School of Law since 2017. He was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2020, recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 through 2020, and named a Super Lawyer in 2024 and 2026.
