Brian Mason is a Partner and Trial Attorney at Gomez Trial Attorneys in San Diego, where he represents plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury cases. Brian began his career defending indigent criminal defendants through the San Diego County Public Defender's Multiple Conflicts Office, earning a Pro Bono Honors Award for volunteering more than 300 hours on first-degree homicide cases. He went on to serve as in-house counsel at Mercury Insurance Company from 2015 to 2019, where he was sole defense counsel on dozens of civil jury trials. He has appeared in California state and federal courts thousands of times and served as lead counsel on more than 30 jury trials.

Brian has been an Adjunct Professor of Legal Writing at Thomas Jefferson School of Law since 2017. He was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates in 2020, recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2018 through 2020, and named a Super Lawyer in 2024 and 2026. He is also a member of the Top 100 Personal Injury Lawyers in America and the National Top 100 Trial Lawyers.
