John Greer

John W. Greer is a Partner and Trial Attorney at Gomez Trial Attorneys in San Diego, where he concentrates his practice on catastrophic personal injury litigation. With intimate knowledge of the insurance and healthcare industries, John has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients.

John earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2009 and worked as an editor for a small publishing house before attending California Western School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2013. He was on the Dean's Honor List for four consecutive semesters and received the American Jurisprudence Award for Environmental Law. During law school he served as Vice-President of the Environmental Law Society and Director of the Community Outreach Committee, the homeless outreach arm of the Student Bar Association.

John was admitted to the California State Bar in 2015 and has built a strong track record in personal injury trial work. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for five consecutive years (2021-2025) and received the Top 40 Under 40 award from the National Trial Lawyers as well as the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service.
