About Lynne Coates

Lynne Coates, Esq. is an Attorney at Habbas & Associates with over 25 years of legal experience. She joined the firm in 2016, bringing expertise in personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, asbestos cases, and complex litigation. She oversees all aspects of personal injury claims including mediation, arbitration, and trial.

A native of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Coates was motivated by witnessing bullying to help those needing advocacy. In 2015, she became a lawsuit plaintiff herself, gaining deeper insight into victim experiences and the importance of skilled legal representation. Before joining Habbas, she spent several years in insurance defense handling personal injury claims of varying sizes.

She earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego in 1992 and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Law and Business Management from Temple University in 1987. She is licensed to practice in California state and federal courts.
