About Maria Mazur

Maria L. Mazur is a partner at Lubin & Meyer and co-chair of the firm's Case Evaluation Department. She represents clients through all stages of litigation and has participated in several multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts, including a $14 million record-setting medical malpractice settlement in a laboratory error case. She is a member of the legal team in the class-action lawsuit representing more than 200 patients of former Boston rheumatologist Derrick Todd, MD. An invited lecturer and seminar chair for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, she presents on medical record analysis and the evaluation of medical issues in personal injury and malpractice claims.

Prior to joining Lubin & Meyer, she had over six years of medical malpractice defense experience and more than ten years total of insurance defense litigation experience. She is admitted in Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. A graduate of Northeastern University (B.S. political science, cum laude) and Roger Williams University School of Law (J.D.), she is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Massachusetts Women's Bar Association.
