Eric Schaefer

Eric R. Schaefer is the Senior Associate Attorney and Head of Litigation at Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban, based in the firm's Charlotte, North Carolina office. He joined the firm in July 2020 and was promoted to Head of Litigation in March 2024. He has spent his entire legal career litigating cases, with extensive experience in personal injury, childhood sexual abuse, federal aviation, premises liability, defamation, construction defect, civil rights violations, commercial litigation, and breach of contract matters. He has presented appellate oral arguments before the California Court of Appeal and is significantly involved in the Camp Lejeune water contamination cases. He was admitted to the California Bar in 2012 (CA Bar #285259) and practiced in Los Angeles until relocating to Charlotte in 2018.
