Peter Weprin

Peter Weprin serves as Of Counsel to Meirowitz & Wasserberg, based in the firm's New York City office. He is part of the toxic tort team focusing on mesothelioma, lung cancer, and other asbestos exposure cases.

Peter began his legal career at age 16 as an intern at his uncle's personal injury law firm. After earning his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1999, he was admitted to the New York Bar in 2001. Before returning to plaintiffs' work, Peter served as Senior Counsel at a Fortune 500 company and as a Managing Director specializing in biotech cancer drug financing, giving him a unique perspective on both corporate and medical aspects of his current practice.

Peter is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the City University of New York (Queens) and at the Interboro Institute.
