About Jonathan Alvarez

Jonathan Alvarez is a Partner at Meirowitz & Wasserberg's New York City office, where he represents plaintiffs in a wide range of negligence matters including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, construction accidents, dog bites, bicycle accidents, medical malpractice, municipal liability, and police misconduct cases.

Before joining the firm in 2020, Jonathan worked as an Associate at a boutique plaintiff's personal injury firm in Westchester County. Earlier in his career, he served as a Trial Attorney for the Office of the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, gaining significant trial experience defending the City in tort matters.

Jonathan earned his J.D. magna cum laude from Pace University School of Law in White Plains, where he served as Note and Comment Editor of the Pace International Law Review. He clerked for the Honorable Nelson S. Roman, United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
