D.L. Rencher

D.L. Rencher serves as California affiliate counsel for Michael Hill Trial Law and is the founder and managing attorney of Rencher Law Group, P.C., based in San Francisco. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rencher enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after high school, serving as an Aircraft Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician and receiving the National Service Defense Medal and a commendation for Outstanding Military Service during Operation Desert Storm.

He completed his undergraduate studies with honors at UCLA and earned his Juris Doctor from UC College of the Law, San Francisco, where he served on the Trial Team and received the Moot Court Award for Best Oral Advocate. He began his legal career in healthcare defense, representing medical facilities, before transitioning to plaintiff work focused on nursing home neglect, abuse, and wrongful death cases across California. Rencher has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 list for five consecutive years and is a member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums.
