Christopher Stombaugh

Christopher Stombaugh is a Trial Attorney at Michigan Auto Law, recognized as a leading trial lawyer. He has achieved major verdicts including $102.6 million against General Motors, a $40 million wrongful death case, and verdicts of $26 million and $13 million. He serves as the main instructor at the Michigan Auto Law Trial Center and teaches at the Trial Lawyers College.

Stombaugh earned his Juris Doctor with honors from Drake University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. He is admitted to practice in Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, the U.S. Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Fluent in Spanish, Stombaugh served as past president of the Wisconsin Association for Justice. He has been selected to Super Lawyers continuously since 2010 and regularly presents at national legal conferences on trial advocacy.
