Ben Copeland

Ben Copeland is an attorney at Montlick Injury Attorneys in Georgia, focused on workers' compensation and personal injury litigation since 2008.

Copeland brings perspective from both plaintiff and defense backgrounds, having represented insurance companies and employers before transitioning to injured worker advocacy at Montlick in 2015.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law, where he received the CALI Award for Legal Research. He also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama.

He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia's Workers' Compensation Section.

He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Workers' Compensation (2018) and to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys (2022). He spoke on Evidentiary Essentials at the 2025 Georgia Workers' Compensation CLE in Jekyll Island.
