About Scott Patterson

Scott Patterson is a Managing Attorney at Montlick Injury Attorneys in Georgia. He has over two decades of legal experience.

Patterson began his career at King & Spalding handling complex litigation, then moved to insurance defense, and founded his own firm in 2005 focusing on criminal defense and personal injury. He briefly served as Chief Operating Officer and Legal Counsel for a startup before joining Montlick in 2022, becoming Managing Attorney in 2024.

He earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, where he served on the Mercer Law Review and was a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government and Sociology from The College of William and Mary in 1993.

He is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and Cobb County Bar Association Trial Lawyers Section.
