Andrew O'Connell

Andrew K. O'Connell is a partner at Murphy Falcon & Murphy whose practice covers civil litigation, general corporate litigation, partnership disputes, construction defect claims, real estate litigation, personal injury, civil rights, wrongful death, environmental torts, negligent security, and appeals. He earned his B.A. cum laude from Providence College in 1996 and his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2000. He was admitted to the Maryland bar in 2001. Before joining Murphy Falcon & Murphy, he was a member at Thomas & Libowitz, P.A., focusing on construction defect and real estate litigation, and prior to that a senior associate at Cowie and Mott, P.A., where he handled construction defect matters for condominium associations and property owners in the Baltimore-Washington area. He has appealed cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Maryland's appellate courts, including Price v. Murdy (Maryland Consumer Loan Law), Beall v. Holloway-Johnson (wrongful death), and Whitaker v. Whitaker (real property).
