About Nicholas Szokoly

Nicholas Szokoly is a partner at Murphy Falcon & Murphy whose practice concentrates on personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, toxic substance poisoning, and consumer class actions. A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, he previously served as managing attorney at a Baltimore boutique firm representing childhood lead poisoning victims. Since joining the firm, he has recovered more than $90 million for clients through trial and settlement and is a lifetime member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. He practices regularly in state and federal courts across the country, has argued before the Fourth and Sixth Circuits, and has been selected for Super Lawyers every year from 2020 through 2025.

He served as Chairman of the Unsecured Creditors Committee in a Baltimore bankruptcy involving hundreds of pending lead-poisoning claims. He is admitted to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, both invitation-only organizations. He is also a member of the Board of Governors of the Maryland Association for Justice and a volunteer legal services provider for Maryland Disability Law Center clients and military veterans.
