About William Jacobson

William (Bill) S. Jacobson has more than 40 years of experience as a trial attorney focusing on birth injuries and catastrophic medical malpractice. A member of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group, Bill is part of a national network of attorneys dedicated to securing justice for families of children who suffered brain injuries at birth. He has published in the Journal of the Birth Trauma Litigation Group on cross-examining defense experts in birth injury cases and has written extensively on medical malpractice topics including deposition techniques and obstetrical malpractice claims. He has been selected as an Ohio Super Lawyer every year since 2006, an honor reserved for the top 5 percent of attorneys in the state, and was recognized in Best Lawyers (2015) as one of the top 13 medical malpractice plaintiff's attorneys in Cleveland. Bill also served as co-chair of the annual Risk Management Seminar at one of Ohio's largest hospitals, where he worked alongside physicians to promote patient safety.
