Stuart Scott

Stuart E. Scott has been with Spangenberg Shibley & Liber since graduating from Ohio State Law School in 1995, becoming a partner in 2005. He represents individuals and families who have been catastrophically injured or killed through negligence, medical malpractice, dangerous products, or defective drugs. Since becoming a partner, Stuart has expanded into consumer rights litigation, including class actions on behalf of consumers challenging unfair bank overdraft fees, deceptive product labeling, warranty breaches, and false advertising by manufacturers of so-called flushable wipes. He is a former minor league pitcher who once struck out Ken Griffey Jr. in the Connie Mack World Series. He graduated from Ball State University in 1990 and received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 1995, where he graduated in the Order of the Coif.
