Dustin Herman

Dustin B. Herman is a partner who practices out of Tampa, Florida, handling cases in both Florida and Ohio. He concentrates on medical malpractice, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, product liability, catastrophic and traumatic brain injury cases, and trucking cases. Dustin has played a significant role in numerous mass tort MDLs, including the National Prescription Opiate Litigation, Camp Lejeune water litigation, and several hip implant and pelvic mesh MDLs.

Recent trial results include a $17.675 million verdict in a nursing home wrongful death case in 2025, a $6 million nursing home wrongful death verdict in 2024, and a $5 million nursing home wrongful death verdict in 2026. He was named one of South Florida's Most Effective Lawyers by the Daily Business Review for his role in obtaining a $28.5 million traumatic brain injury verdict. He earned his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law in 2010 and his B.A. from the University of Florida in 2007.
