Payton Klatt

Payton Klatt joined Sam Aguiar Injury Lawyers as a law clerk in 2020 and became a full-time attorney in 2021 after passing the bar exam. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, to parents in the legal field, Payton earned a degree in Public Policy and Leadership with a minor in Spanish from the University of Mississippi, then received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. While at UofL he competed on the Mock Trial Arbitration Team and received a CALI Award for Academic Excellence in Criminal Procedure.

His practice focuses on commercial trucking cases, motor vehicle collisions, and slip-and-fall incidents. He is admitted in Kentucky state courts and the federal courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. He has been selected for the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and Super Lawyers Rising Stars.
