About Alyssa Arellano

Alyssa M. Arellano is an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department at Sandoval & James Law Firm in Austin, Texas, where she joined in 2025 after completing law school. She had previously interned at the firm while a law student.

A first-generation attorney born and raised in Austin, Arellano earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from St. Edward's University in 2022 with a double major in Accounting and Economics, graduating with a 3.99 GPA after appearing on the Dean's List in all eight semesters. She received the Texas CPA Accounting Excellence Award and the St. Edward's University Presidential Award.

She earned her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2025, where she received a Hispanic Bar Association of Austin scholarship, won the CHLLSA Spirit of Creativity Award her 3L year, and was inducted into the Friar Society. During law school she was active in CHLLSA, The Pipeline Program, the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs, and the Texas Hispanic Journal of Law & Policy.
