Austin Carrizales

Austin Carrizales is a Senior Associate Attorney at Sandoval & James Law Firm in Austin, Texas, with more than a decade of litigation experience. He helps manage the firm's non-catastrophic litigation department and assists with the litigation of substantial and complex personal injury cases.

Carrizales began his legal career in Lubbock, Texas, handling motor vehicle collision and oilfield injury cases, then established his own practice covering personal injury, criminal, and family law. Before joining Sandoval & James in 2024, he managed litigation departments and worked on substantial cases at regional firms.

He has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2021 and is an active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association.

Carrizales earned his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2013, where he concurrently earned a Master's in Public Administration. He completed his undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University. He is licensed to practice in both Texas and New Mexico.
