About Destinee Williams

Destinee Chambrelle Williams is an Associate Attorney in the Litigation Department at Sandoval & James Law Firm in Austin, Texas, where she joined in July 2025. She represents personal injury clients with a trial-driven, strategy-first approach honed through years as a prosecutor.

Before joining Sandoval & James, Williams served as an Assistant District Attorney, where she prosecuted more than 1,000 cases including high-stakes trials involving DWI, civil rights, and homicide matters. Her prior career also includes work with Kizzia Johnson, the Travis County Tax Office, BARBRI, and the Missouri State Public Defender's office.

Williams is a first-generation college graduate and attorney. She earned her J.D. from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law. She is a member of the Austin Bar Association, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, and the Austin Black Lawyers Association. She volunteers with Meals on Wheels, mentors youth and first-generation students, and has previously served as a mock trial coach at the University of Texas School of Law.
