Michael Sullivan

Michael F. Sullivan earned his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. He joined Schwartz Jambois in 2011 as a law clerk and has since advanced to attorney. Admitted to practice in Illinois, Iowa, and Florida, Sullivan concentrates on medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and neglect, catastrophic personal injury, and truck accidents.

He has recovered more than $50 million for clients throughout Illinois. Super Lawyers Magazine has recognized him as a Rising Star, an honor reserved for the top 2.5 percent of Illinois attorneys under 40, and Law Bulletin's Leading Lawyers Magazine designated him an Emerging Lawyer in 2022. His notable results include a $10.18 million medical malpractice verdict for the estate of a patient who died from a misdiagnosed sepsis infection, an $8.85 million malpractice settlement for a surgical procedure error, an $8 million wrongful death recovery from an elevator repair incident, and a $5.5 million malpractice settlement for a surgical death.
