Richard Budden

Richard L. Budden is an attorney and partner at Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman, Chtd. Originally from St. Marys, Kansas, he earned his B.B.A. with emphases in accounting and management from Washburn University, then graduated magna cum laude from Washburn University School of Law in 2012. During law school, he served as Executive Editor for volume 51 of the Washburn Law Journal after having his comment published in volume 50.

After graduating, Richard spent two years clerking for the Honorable J. Thomas Marten in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas in Wichita. He joined Shamberg, Johnson & Bergman in the fall of 2014. Richard has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star and enjoys playing guitar, competing in sports, and spending time with his wife, Samantha, a registered nurse.
