About Gemma Zanowski

Gemma Zanowski is a first-generation immigrant raised by her father, and decided she wanted to be a lawyer at age seven. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with degrees in Journalism and Psychology and went on to earn her J.D. cum laude from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. She focuses on serious personal injury cases, including dog attacks, drunk-driver crashes, premises liability, government liability, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death. She obtained a $21.5 million verdict in a dangerous dog mauling case against King County, and was part of the team on the $10 million Black Lives Matter injured protesters lawsuit. She is known for her use of storytelling and persuasive advocacy in the courtroom.
