About Bert Braud

Bert S. Braud is Of Counsel at Popham Injury Law after decades as a partner at the firm. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in English in 1981 and then earned his J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1984, joining the firm directly after graduation. Bert specializes in trial practice with a focus on employment discrimination litigation.

He served as President (2011-2013), Vice-President (2009-2011), and Secretary (2007-2009) of the Kansas City chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association, and has served on the Board of the Eighth Circuit NELA affiliate. He holds an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer. He is a frequent speaker at seminars for lawyers and human resources professionals on employment law litigation and trial practice.
