About Brendan Brown

Brendan Brown is a trial attorney and litigator at Torgan Cooper + Aaron who handles construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and medical malpractice cases, working every stage of litigation from drafting the summons and complaint through settlement or trial. He served as second chair to partner Ed Cooper on the jury trial that produced a $72.5 million verdict against the MTA. Before joining the firm, Mr. Brown was an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department, where he was lead counsel on several jury trials and was recognized as the Law Department's legal Rookie of the Year, also receiving the Division Chief Award for outstanding performance. He graduated cum laude from Ithaca College and earned his law degree from Brooklyn Law School, where he served on the Executive Board of the Moot Court Honor Society.
