About Jonathan Tabar

Jonathan Tabar is a trial attorney and litigator who joined Torgan Cooper + Aaron in 2019 with 25 years of personal injury litigation experience. He handles construction accidents, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice cases, and represents victims of abuse and neglect. Mr. Tabar has served as lead trial counsel on more than 150 jury trials representing both plaintiffs and defendants, has argued numerous successful appeals before the Appellate Divisions of the State of New York, and has resolved many cases through negotiation and mediation.

Earlier in his career he served as trial counsel to several New York law firms in complex civil and commercial litigation, including class actions. A graduate of New York University and Brooklyn Law School, he was admitted to the New York Bar in 1997 and is also admitted in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.
