About Ed Cooper
Ed Cooper is a founding partner of Torgan Cooper + Aaron who has spent his career representing people injured by large corporations, including construction workers hurt on dangerous job sites, patients harmed by substandard medical care, and individuals mistreated by insurance companies. He handles construction accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, highway design and motor vehicle accident cases, and his work has produced numerous verdicts and settlements above a million dollars. In February 2024 he served as lead trial counsel in Beauchamp v. NYC Transit Authority, winning a $72.5 million jury verdict for a pedestrian dragged by an MTA bus, believed to be the largest pedestrian knockdown verdict against the MTA.
