Austin Barnum

Austin Barnum is a Trial Lawyer at Claggett & Sykes Trial Lawyers, specializing in civil rights and personal injury matters. He focuses on vindicating civil rights and securing justice for individuals harmed by misconduct, negligence, and abuse of power.

Barnum earned his Juris Doctor summa cum laude from the UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law in 2019 and his Bachelor of Arts in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College. He is admitted to the State Bar of Nevada, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Barnum previously served as Senior Deputy Attorney General handling constitutional litigation. He is a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve commanding a Psychological Operations company.
