About Stuart Cofman

Stuart A. Cofman is a founding partner at Cofman Townsley Attorneys at Law in St. Louis, Missouri, which he co-founded in 1973. He earned his B.S. from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from the University of Missouri School of Law. Over more than 50 years as a trial attorney, Cofman secured numerous million-dollar settlements and verdicts for clients in personal injury, products liability, tort, workers' compensation, and premises liability cases. He argued cases before the Missouri Supreme Court and the Missouri Court of Appeals and filed briefs in the United States Supreme Court.

He is admitted to practice in Missouri and Illinois. His professional affiliations include the American Association for Justice, American Bar Association, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and The Missouri Bar. Cofman has since retired from active practice.
