About Todd Nissenholtz

Todd R. Nissenholtz is a partner and managing partner at Cofman Townsley Attorneys at Law in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2003, where he served as Research Editor of the Emory International Law Review and clerked for Justice P. Harris Hines of the Georgia Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. His practice focuses on wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases, including products liability, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, burn injuries, electrical injuries, automobile accidents, trucking accidents, explosions, and workplace injuries.

He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in personal injury, received the Up and Coming Lawyer designation from Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and was selected as a Barrister of the Inns of Court. He received Top Plaintiff's Verdicts recognition in 2024 and Largest Reported Verdict recognition in 2014. A St. Charles County jury awarded $247.3 million to six women sexually assaulted by an unlicensed massage therapist at Oasis Foot Spa & Massage in St. Peters, finding the spa and its owner liable for hiring him without any background check and ignoring an early complaint. The Missouri Court of Appeals affirmed the judgment in full in 2024.
