Aziza Elayan

Aziza F. Elayan is an attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including personal injury, product liability, and class action and mass tort matters. In law school she earned Dean's List recognition and a book award in Real Estate Transactions, reached the Quarterfinals in the 2010 Wechsler First Amendment Moot Court Competition, and was a Semi-Finalist in the 2010 Board of Advocates Intramural Appellate Advocacy Competition. She worked as a legal advocate at the Carlos A. Costa Immigration & Human Rights Clinic, securing political asylum for an immigrant client. Her case experience includes a complete defense verdict for a Ritz-Carlton owner in David J. Stern v. Castillo Grand Residences, the Havana Docks litigation against Carnival, Royal, NCL, and MSC yielding approximately $450 million in judgments, the 3M Products Liability MDL involving defective earplugs, the SharkBite Products Liability Class Action, and the Takata Airbag MDL with settlements over $1 billion.
