About Ricardo Martinez-Cid

Ricardo M. Martinez-Cid earned his B.A. cum laude in only three years from the University of Miami (1997) and his J.D. from Yale Law School (2000), where he was the William S. Beinecke Scholar. He is Board Certified in both Aviation Law and Civil Trial by the Florida Bar, its highest level of evaluation of competency and experience in a specialty area. Ricardo is a member of the International Society of Barristers and the American Board of Trial Advocates, both invitation-only organizations. He was appointed court-appointed lead counsel for all wrongful death and personal injury victims of the Champlain Towers building collapse in Surfside, Florida, and has served in leadership roles in MDLs for Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 and Zantac litigation. The Florida Supreme Court appointed him to the Standing Committee on Fairness and Diversity, and the Chief Justice appointed him to the Pro Bono Advisory Committee.
