Peter Prieto

Peter Prieto received his B.S. summa cum laude from St. Thomas University and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He has focused his practice for over twenty-five years on complex commercial litigation, class actions, and white-collar criminal defense, representing plaintiffs harmed by unlawful or negligent corporate conduct and defending select corporate and individual clients in high-stakes matters. He has served on the Judicial Nominating Commission for Florida's Third District Court of Appeal, on Florida's Commission on Ethics, and on the ABA's Standing Committee on Federal Judiciary as a representative of the Eleventh Circuit. He is admitted to the Florida Bar. As lead counsel in the Takata Airbag MDL, he obtained settlements exceeding $1.5 billion for millions of vehicle owners.
