About Kristina Infante

Kristina M. Infante is a trial lawyer who focuses on high-value complex litigation involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, aviation disasters, defective products, bad faith insurance disputes, mass torts, and class actions. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an editor of the NYU Law Review. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University. Before joining Podhurst Orseck, Kristina practiced at Boies Schiller & Flexner and clerked for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

She is admitted to the Florida Bar. Kristina served as sole court-appointed Lead Counsel in the consolidated Federal Tort Claims Act litigation against the United States arising from the FBI's failures before the 2018 Parkland school shooting, securing a $127.5 million settlement. She also obtained a $25 million judgment in a bad faith case against Progressive and helped secure a $57 million class action settlement with Volkswagen.
